As you
do know, our association is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting protea. (See our full mission statement below).
As you may also know, we exhibit at events (like Del Mar and Avocado Festival) to raise awareness about protea and raise funds for the association.
You also know that we periodically have general meetings at which we often combine social activities with hands-on workshops to share and strengthen skills.
But here is something you may not know...Continual efforts are made throughout the year to advertise, market and otherwise promote protea locally, nationally, and even internationally. The CPA helps by contributing product or shipping costs to promote our flowers. The more that people are exposed to protea and become enthusiastic about them, the better for all of us.

Our Mission
The California Protea Association (CPA) is a non-profit corporation that works to improve and develop cultivars and promotes the marketing of Protea. It was formed to assist its members to learn more about how to successfully make Protea flowers a more important part of California floriculture.
