28th International Horticultural Congress
The IPA Conference is going to be held August 22-27, 2010 in Lisbon Portugal. It is going to be part of the 28th International Horticultural Congress meeting.
Science and Horticulture for People, the theme of the Congress, emphasises horticulture’s scientific components and how it relates to scientists, producers, consumers and society at large. People are also the focus of horticulture for development.
The scientific programme is rich and diverse. Participants will find topics to suit their specific interests among the high number of colloquia, symposia, seminars, workshops and thematic sessions.
New co-convener and IPA Chairperson
The co-convener and has been changed and will now be Lynn Hoffman. Mr Rua Petty has stepped down as chair of the IPA and his replacement is Audrey Gerber. Rua will remain on the board as California’s representative and will continue to help and be an active member supporting Audrey as our new chair.
