March 6 - 8, 2015 Del Mar Fairgrounds
Traditionally this is a great fund-raiser for us. We exhibit in Del Mar for all 3 days and have a wonderful time talking to people about protea and selling potted plants and bouquets. If you are interested in joining us this year or have any questions, please call our Events Director, Bill Boyett: 760-215-0498.

This is great news for the California Protea Association.
Your board of directors has managed to get our association included in this highly regarded event. We will be sharing space with a couple of our larger growers (Resendiz Brothers and Rainbow Protea). The World Floral Expo (AKA, the international flower trade show) is coming to Los Angeles and the California flower growers are expected to have a strong presence. The outcome of the show should lead to positive developments, such as a sales boost of California grown protea cut flowers and potted plants.
The event is primarily flower growers meeting with buyers of cut flowers & potted plants. However, other floral supply companies are also part of the exhibitor profile, since these growers & buyers are their clients as well. It can therefore be said that the expo will fit any company within the floriculture chain, from breeder to retailer. To read more, visit their website: World Floral Expo
As more details are worked out we will let you know.
